Brian Loftin

A decorated career on and off the field prepared Brian Loftin for his role as the first commissioner of the Xtreme Soccer League.

As a player, the Kansas City native scored 289 regular season goals in 8 indoor seasons and won professional indoor championships with the Kansas City Attack (1997) and Milwaukee Wave (2000, 2001). Loftin also played 4 seasons of outdoor 3 years in the A-league and 1 season with the Tampa Bay Mutiny of the MLS. He also represented the United States as a member of the national futsal team from 1996 through 2002, receiving a gold medal in 1996 and Bronze Medal in 2000 during CONCACAF qualifying.

Upon retiring in 2003, Loftin joined the Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club and Uihlein Soccer Park as director of soccer operations. He returned to the Wave a year later, this time as vice president of business development. The Milwaukee Business Journal honored him as one of the city’s “Top 40 Under 40” in 2005, the same year the Wave won another championship.

Loftin joined the Chicago Storm in 2005 as chief operating officer and general manager. He spearheaded the team’s move from the UIC Pavilion to the Sears Centre Arena and oversaw dramatic growth in attendance, revenue and camp participation.

He resides in Elmwood Park, Ill., with his wife Nichole and children Alanis and Avery.
