CHICAGO (Dec. 3, 2008) — The Xtreme Soccer League and Brine are pleased to announce a multi-year partnership that makes Brine the Official Match Ball Provider of the XSL.

The XSL Match Ball is the Triumph X 600, featuring the league logo, green-and-white color scheme and signature of Commissioner Brian Loftin. It will be used in all matches of the Xtreme Soccer League, which debuts Dec. 13 when the Milwaukee Wave host the Detroit Ignition. Replica and mini balls also will be available.brine ball

“Brine is a leading manufacturer of high-end soccer balls, and we are pleased to join their ranks,” said Brian Loftin, commissioner of the XSL.

John Macik, vice president of business development of the XSL, said: “This agreement provides us with a great opportunity to brand both Brine and the XSL in arena, online and in stores.”

Look for the Triumph X 600, along with replicas and mini balls, in specialty soccer shops nationwide in the coming months.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to be part of the XSL,” said Sean Kelly, soccer brand manager for Brine. “While we have built our reputation with our unique formula on our hand-stitched ball, the XSL will be the first professional league to use Brine’s new Hy-brid technology that thermally molds the ball at the seams to give a more responsive feel.”
